Represented by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht L’OCTANT is a 51 ft sailing catamaran. The most valuable elements of L’OCTANT are her most appealing features and experienced crew. L’OCTANT spends the summer season in Sicily. She was completed by the well-known ship builder NEEL Trimarans in 2018. The expansive yacht layout features 3 generous cabins and easily accommodates a group of 6 guests.
L’OCTANT is offered primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and usually it where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The tasteful cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes offer desirable views, while providing privacy if needed.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailing catamaran like L’OCTANT, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€2,300 - €4,025), making the charter cost €13,800 to €15,525. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

With extensive experience navigating both the Mediterranean and Caribbean, for almost 25 years Captain Denis Ruban is a seasoned professional skilled in commanding sailing and motor yachts between 40 and 70 feet. His expertise spans private charters, crew management, technical oversight, and vessel maintenance—including mechanical and electrical systems.
Over the past few years, Denis has captained prestigious catamarans and trimarans across the Caribbean, Corsica, and the Atlantic, including over the past few years:

Passionate, reliable, and highly organized, Captain Ruban combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine dedication to guest satisfaction and safe, memorable voyages.
With over a decade of experience in the yachting and hospitality industry, Daniele Dornier is a versatile and dedicated cook–stewardess known for her warm service and refined culinary skills.
In recent years, Daniele has worked aboard some of the most elegant sailing yachts, including the Alegria 67 LOOMA, NEOW, and as a temporary crew member on the Gunboat 72V Wonderful during the 2023–2025 season. Her background also includes freelance work as a cook–stew on various motor yachts, notably M/Y Pikes Peak (24m Riva), and as chef stewardess aboard S/Y Atmosphère during her opening season from 2018.
Before that, Daniele honed her culinary expertise working as a private cook for a family in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and spent several Caribbean seasons aboard S/Y Atao (2013–2016), where she handled interior management, provisioning, and guest service for both owners and charter guests.
Combining professionalism, adaptability, and a passion for refined cuisine, Daniele ensures a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional guest experience on every voyage.
