Known for her calm demeanor and drama-free attitude, she thrives under pressure and brings a meticulous eye for detail to every task. She has held a variety of roles both on land and at sea, including positions as a sole stewardess and cook aboard motor and sailing yachts. She is a strong team player who also excels independently, always approaching her work with a can-do attitude and a warm, friendly personality. <p>John is an experienced yacht chef with over 20 years in professional catering, including multi-rosette restaurants, luxury yachts, and UHNW private residences. He recently joined M/Y Aurelia (38m Hessen) for the 2025 Mediterranean season, delivering a highly successful charter with excellent guest and crew feedback. Specialising in fish and seafood, John creates refined, seasonal menus ranging from fine dining to relaxed Mediterranean and Asian fusion cuisine, always tailored to guest preferences and dietary requirements. His background includes Sole Chef roles on vessels up to 56m and five years as Private Chef to a UHNW British family at Wentworth Estate. Organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure, John excels in provisioning, menu planning, and delivering consistently high standards on both charter and private programs. Fully certified (STCW, ENG1, Ships Cook Certificate).</p>
